  • You will be working as Sales Specialist and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Energy Industries division based in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
  • In this role you will be reporting to Sales Manager and will be responsible for sales of products or systems or services within a designated market or division, in line with the division strategy. Achieving both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share and customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities

  • Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand their needs, promoting their understanding of ABB’s complete product or systems or services offering and aligning with them to provide a solution
  • Creating added value for the customer, ABB and ensuring the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques
  • Selling products or systems or services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for the assigned divisions
  • Communicating to the customers about the details related to delivery time, payments, general terms and conditions in line with ABB’s offering and strategy
  • Managing administrative procedures in sales processes, supporting cash collection and project management activities when needed
  • Preparing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department or the Marketing Manager. Ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers are in place, including prices and trading conditions.

Your background

  • B.E or B Tech or B Sc in Electronics/ Electrical/ Instrumentation from a reputed university
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience with at least 5 years in Process Automation or Industrial Automation or Instrumentation domain in Bangladesh
  • Basic domain knowledge of Oil, Gas, Chemical and Pharma industry or other industrial production processes
  • Experience in Electrical selling would be an added advantage
